Atimonan is a town rich in culture and tradition. Tagultol Fishing Festival, a five-day festivity of Atimonan Town Fiesta and Feast of Patron –Nuestra Señora de los Angeles is celebrated from July 29 to August 02 of every year. The name of the festival is coined from an old, popular fishing method using abaca string dip in honey with stone tied as weight and thorns of plants with worms served as bait. It is bounced (ugtol) in water to attract fish. The event is highlighted by competitions in Street Dancing, fishing, boat racing, tilos biklad and cooking, beauty search and Karakol, a religious procession in honor of the town's patron.

Atimonan Foundation Day celebrated every February 04 showcases different activities that portray the colorful history of Atimonan and agricultural products exhibit.

Atimonanins love for music and dances are well reflected in its original dances. Polkabal, Tanda de Val, Putritos, Jota Pandanggo, Jardinera and Garambal are among the original dances that depict our own identity. The dances are mostly focused on courtship, love of nature and love of work
