The Results of 2007 Census of Population has not released detailed data, hence, the 2009 Survey of Population conducted by the town’s Rural Health Unit was utilized. The survey revealed a total of 14,085 households with the average household size of 4.70

Population Density

The municipality of Atimonan has a population density of  three (3) persons per hectare.

The most densely populated barangays in Atimonan are Tagbakin, Caridad Ibaba, Zones 1,II,IV of the poblacion and Malinao Ilaya while barangays San Jose Balatok,  Montes Balaon, Montes Kallagan, Manggalayan Bundok, San Andres Bundok, Villa Ibaba, Sta. Catalina and Matanag have less than one (1) person per hectare density.
