In the 2009 Survey of Population conducted by Rural Health Unit, population of Atimonan comprises of 31,750 males and 30,797 females with percentage distribution of 50.76% and 49.24% respectively. Although these figures showed that there are more males then females, a ratio of 1:1 still exists.
Labor force which belongs to age group 15-64 represents 63.06%, meanwhile the total dependency ratio was computed at 59%. This means that out of 100 population, 59 of them are depending on those in the labor force, which were composed of children 49% and elders 10%.
